The ceremony took place on the hotel’s oceanfront lānai as the late afternoon sun turned everything gold. She walked down the aisle in a flowing, simple gown with a beautiful lei. He wore a linen suit and a maile lei draped across his shoulders. Their officiant spoke in both English and Hawaiian, honoring the land and the love equally.
After exchanging their vows — the kind that made even the seabirds pause — guests moved into the newly renovated ballroom for a reception filled with laughter, local flavors, and the kind of dancing that lasts until the stars come out.
Kaimana’s culinary team outdid themselves with a menu rooted in fresh island ingredients: ahi poke passed on arrival, a family-style dinner featuring Hawai’i-grown produce, and a wedding cake infused with coconut and lilikoi. Every bite tasted like the island.
